Extreme Mustang Makeover – Idaho

The Extreme Mustang Makeover will return to Nampa in 2015! This wild horse training competition will offer two divisions: Youth, ages 8-17, can compete with a mustang they adopt  in-hand for an estimated $5,000 and adults, ages 18 and over, will ride their assigned mustang in preliminary classes to compete for a spot in the top 10 freestyle finals to earn their share of $20,000. All adult mustangs will be available for adoption after the event.

janetJanet Wilson

Raised in Southern California, Janet Wilson has been active in the horse industry for over 30 years. An accredited judge with the National Reining Horse Association since 1998 and the American Quarter Horse Association since 2004, Janet continues to stay active both professionally and personally in the equine world. In years past, she has officiated at the NRHA Futurity and Derby as well as the AQHA European Championships. As a teenager she rode a special mustang, “Wind Song”, to numerous open show wins and a championship title in an obstacle trail course competition. Janet now resides in Mountain View, Wyoming with her husband Steve, and their two children, Josie and Jex.

Genny Miller

Genny Miller Performance Horses LLC is an all-around facility based out of Ellensburg WA.  This program is tailored to meet the individual needs of both horse and rider. Genny  works toward discovering a horse’s strengths and enhancing them, during which time she also helps the rider to improve their own skills in making certain all clients are prepared and ready to compete.

Genny revels in  bringing the entire package of horse and rider to fruition.

Genny has trained and coached many ApHC top ten youth and amateur riders in Western Riding, Horsemanship, Trail, Showmanship and Equitation including a ApHC National Champion in Youth Western Pleasure.  In addition Genny has coached her students to win at the Smart Pack West Championships is Las Vegas; Youth Level 1 Equitation Champion, amateur Level 1 Horsemanship Reserve Champion, amateur Rookie  Equitation Reserve Champion.   Genny herself is a multiple futurity champion.

Genny  is an AQHA Professional Horseman who holds an  ApHC,  NSBA Category 1  and Level 1 AQHA judges’ card.  Genny is  a member of  AQHAs Wrangler Extreme Team and was voted WSQHA’s 2012 Professional Horseman of the year.
