Mustang Magic returns to the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show! This invitation-only event features competition between past top-placing Extreme Mustang Makeover trainers. Jan Dublin grew up in Minnesota and graduated from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls with an equine science degree.
After college graduation, Jan lived in Ferrara, Italy, for more than 20 years where she trained and showed reining and all-around horses. Her accomplishments include several Italian championships in reining and she has been a finalist in the Italian Reining Derby and Futurity and the Americana Open Reining. In 2007, she also won five silver medals at the APHA European Championships and high point awards in trail and halter for the Italian Paint Horse Association.
She has judged many NRHA events including the Italian Derby, Maturity and Futurity numerous times; Americana 2006 and 2011; European Futurity 2010 and 2011; the 2011 NRHA Derby in Oklahoma City; the 2012 German Derby; and many other reining and FEI events. She has judged AQHA, APHA, ApHC and NSBA shows for nine years. She also holds cards in NRHA/FEI, NRCHA, NCHA.
Jan lives in San Angelo, Texas, with her husband, Chris, and still travels to Italy often to give clinics and judge horse shows in Europe.
Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Craig has been a professional cutting horse trainer since 1991. Craig has many championship titles to his credit. He has won the Sunbelt Futurity and the Abilene Western Classic/Challenge; he has had the World Champion Gelding and the World Champion Stallion; he has qualified for the NCHA World Finals several times and has been a finalist at every major aged event. Craig won the coveted National Cutting Horse Associations’ Open Futurity Championship in 2003 and he won the inaugural Millionaire Cutting in 2004 with a $300,000 paycheck!
Jim Carr of Burleson, Texas, is a National Cutting Horse Association competitor and judge. He holds a 4-A rating as a carded NCHA judge, which is the highest rating available. His extensive resume includes judging NCHA Limited Age events over the pasts two decades. He also holds an AQHA Judging Discipline Card in cutting. He has lifetime NCHA earnings of more than $226,500 and has been a member of the National Cutting Horse Association since 1980.
